Italian Restaurant Kissimmee - The Italian Joint

We are Erica and Ariel, owners of the fabulous The Italian Joint, a family restaurant that has been serving delicious Italian food for just under 4 years. Hailing from Patagonia Argentina, we come from a relatively small coastal town in the province of Chubut called Playa Unión. As a couple with more than 25 years together and two beautiful children, our lives are steeped in the rich traditions of Argentine cuisine. Like many Argentines, we were raised amidst Italian culture, which is reflected in the saying that 'Argentines are Italians who speak Spanish.' Our culinary heritage stems from the migratory currents of the 1900s that brought Italian and Spanish immigrants to our region. Nowhere is this influence more prominent than in our food culture. We cherish our everyday meals, the flavors we absorbed from childhood, and the cherished recipes like Nonna's noodles and Mamma's lasagna. Sunday ravioli gatherings with family are a beloved tradition. In our family restaurant, there’s always room for one more at the table, and the door is always open for newcomers to share in the joy of good food, bread, and the warmth of family and friends.

A little less than four years ago, we arrived in Central Florida and instantly fell in love with downtown Kissimmee...it reminded us so much of our home in Argentina! We were so captivated that after touring 32 businesses, we decided to stay and open The Italian Joint, a family restaurant where we pour our love into serving authentic Italian food every single day.
